About Being a Human Resources Intern at First

As an intern for our Human Resources team, you will be introduced to the Human Resources function as it relates to the specific discipline of Compensation as a shared service partner. You will gain hands-on compensation experience by working closely with the Compensation Manager and Sr. Director on a variety of projects, reporting, and analysis.

  • Assists the day-to-responsibilities of the compensation team to best support internal clients.
  • Assist with the coordination of the org charts and general reporting (IE: wage, bonus, performance management).
  • Support management of email box and requests to Compensation.
  • Conduct basic wage analysis for Drivers and Technicians/Mechanics.
  • Assist members of the Compensation department with special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Analytics, or Economics.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently.
