The Director of Transformation Office will lead and execute on key workstream initiatives that meet the criteria of the Transformation Office. The Director is accountable for executing on key initiatives that improve our overall processes, efficiencies, and continued business results.  The Director will work closely with other initiative owners, the Vice President of Business Transformation and the Chief Business Transformation Officer. Partnering with all business stakeholders, the Director will implement strategies that drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Major Responsibilities

  • The Director is responsible for at least one or more transformational initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives. The Director's responsibilities include initiating intake of a new project, establishing budget and resources for the project initiatives, developing a timeline and roadmap for delivery and managing and mitigating project risks.
  • Drives for clarity on program objectives, priorities, and measures. Develops solutions/recommendations to unique and complex problems and ensures program solutions are consistent with organizational objectives. Identifies, assess, and mitigates program risks and issues and removes impediments.
  • Develops strong relationships with business  and technology partners to manage program delivery expectations and implementation. Manages the resources and vendors assigned to program by verifying progress and removing obstacles.
  • Makes connections across teams and workstreams to drive identification and facilitation of inter-dependencies. 
  • The Director will leveraging tools and techniques including project management tools and data analytics to enable end-to-end value delivery and the best ongoing rollout and ongoing experience. 
  • Uses extensive knowledge of program management, project management skills, change management and clear communication to develop business requirements and understand the key business drivers as they relate to the owned initiatives and broader transformation office.

Minimum Experience & Skills Required

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management training and designation such as the PMP preferred Minimum 5 years of related experience; diverse project or program management experience to include analysis, design, documentation, project/support management.
  • Ability to work with general direction to scope, plan and manage cross-department or multi-department programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large and highly complex assignments including those with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Subject matter expert in key business processes such as order to cash, procure to pay or Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
  • Seen as a team player and is supportive of group decisions and ideas.
  • Written and oral communications skills with the ability to build rapport within the company, field and /or outside vendors.
  • High degree of personal initiative and motivation.
  • Experience with project methodology through project life cycle phases.
  • Strong project management skills and process orientation. Ability to assess needs, design and implement processes across multi-disciplinary groups.
  • Effective critical thinking, problem solving and change management skills. Ability to conduct complex analytics and synthesize insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Collaborative style with a strong ability to establish trust, build relationships and influence others across all levels and functions of the organization.
  • Ability to identify interdependencies both in and out of transformation office and work through roadblocks and conflicts.
  • Strong focus on stakeholders including the customer and end-user experience
  • Experience leading major strategic, cross-functional initiatives within large complex organizations.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, written, verbal, presentation).
  • Strong business background in financial, strategic, and organizational analysis.
