Salary: $28.00 per hour

We are Seeking:

Assertive and Proactive Individuals with a strong understanding of the 5 boroughs to join our team as Senior Dispatchers. This role is ideal for candidates with at least one year of vehicle dispatch experience who are willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We offer training in the Transit Adept System, with Paratransit Experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage vehicle dispatch operations efficiently, including overseeing schedules and coordinating with drivers. Work flexible hours, including overnight shifts and holidays. Provide leadership and supervisory support within a diverse workforce. Ensure compliance with pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, as per FTA regulations. Clearly communicates job expectations, responsibilities, and duties to drivers to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of vehicle dispatch experience. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and other Windows-based software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong basic math skills. Previous transportation knowledge is a plus. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently in a high-energy environment. Outstanding customer service and critical thinking abilities.

Schedule:

8-hour shifts with flexible availability, including evening, night, and morning shifts.
