Summary:

Position interacts with customers to provide information into inquiry about coverage questions, service and products. Assist with quoting and placing new or renewal lines of coverage. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service
    • Answer client and insurance carriers questions
    • Assist with implementation process when new lines of coverage are purchased
    • Complete change requests to carrier
    • Follow agency procedures and workflows
    • Issue Binder, Evidence of Property, Auto ID Card and other documents as required/requested
    • Work as a team with other CSA's, producers and account managers to assist the client to include claims
  • Renewals
    • Maintain expiration list
    • Follow EPIC Insurance - Midwest procedures regarding obtaining renewal information
    • Work with the producers and/or account managers on the renewal processes.
  • Administrative
    • Review client policy documents (renewals, policies, endorsements, etc.) for accuracy
    • Update and maintain Sagitta and Image Right (Agency Management System) per EPIC Insurance - Midwest procedures
    • Assist with Aged Receivables and keep procedures updated requesting outstanding amounts owed
  • Job Training/Continuing Education
    • Maintain continuing education courses for agent's license
    • Willingness to learn programs to perform or enhance job responsibilities
  • Quotes and Proposals
    • Assist with marketing of existing clients to include reviewing quotes for accuracy
    • Prepare proposals as requested
  • Administrative
    • Review client policy documents (renewals, policies, endorsements, etc.) for accuracy
    • Update and maintain Sagitta and Image Right (Agency Management System) per EPIC Insurance - Midwest procedures

Background and Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years of Property Casualty Insurance experience in Agri-business
  • High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook programs.
  • Customer Service experience over the phone and in person
  • Must be able to interpret guidelines and utilize resources available to analyze and resolve issues and conflicts
  • Confidentiality of all customer account information
  • Goal oriented and highly self-motivated and resourceful to achieve results
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sagitta, ImageRight a plus
