Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The GIS Specialists supports Asset Integrity and geographic efforts and programs. With responsibilities to include:
- Create maps and graphs using GIS software to support Company needs.
- Perform research to obtain and expand existing datasets.
- Gather, merge, check, and report on GIS data and determine how data sets are best utilized through GIS from multiple sources.
- Update existing or create new layers by consulting with external stakeholders to access censuses, fieldwork, satellite and aerial imagery, and maps
- Build, maintain, and update GIS databases
- Analyze and model relationships between geographic data sets
- Operate and maintain GIS system hardware, software, and peripherals
- Present information to stakeholders in verbal or written format
- Analyze spatial and non-spatial data for the company using GIS software
- Support regulatory requirements in creating safety related maps for pressure reducing anomalies
- Create Information Analysis map to support IMP requirement for visual cartography
- Create, maintain, and update KMZ files showing Company's assets.
- Provide cross-departmental support related to GIS when requested.
- Create procedures and guideline
- Build, maintain, and update web map for departmental need
Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Asset Integrity/geographic industry is required
- A minimum of 3 years experience in processing and evaluating GIS data is required.
- Must have a strong understanding of ESRI software entire suite
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work both independently and with others in the organization.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to travel up to 10%.
