The Senior Data Management Analyst plays a vital role in the mid-office, providing extensive support to all company departments to guarantee the accurate use and presentation of custody data. This position is essential for maintaining data consistency throughout its lifecycle and ensuring the long-term preservation of data integrity. The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering precise and timely information that aids in informed business decisions and ensures adherence to both internal policies and external regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect, analyze, reconcile, and process data from diverse sources, transforming it into actionable information for various systems and departments.
  • Deliver precise and timely information to support business decision-making.
  • Engage with and provide consistent, timely support to both internal and external customers.
  • Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Products' business, culture, and operations.
  • Proactively evaluate and enhance processes and procedures to ensure information integrity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to design, validate, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain various system solutions.
  • Identify deficiencies and deliver realistic resolutions that reduce manpower, time, and risk, while increasing overall efficiency.
  • Provide consistent procedures, within a trackable system, that assigns responsibility and offers support for required data.
  • Provide support and resources across all commodities Crude, Refined Products, NGLs and Gas, to drive effective results that will elevate the current processes and tools available.
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of Master Data Core Process development, along with the corresponding supportive tools and documents.
  • Maintain detailed records of all Master Data requests and submit as support in the completion communication.
  • Develop training documents, forms, and reference tools, that are accessible in a central location for multiple departments.
  • Effectively communicate project updates, potential issues, releases, and feedback to upper management weekly.
  • Identify the ownership of the data source to assign responsibilities associated with Master Data and other Estream processes accordingly across departments.
  • Support cross-departmental projects that promote collaborative teamwork, inclusivity, and process improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration in developing data analytics and integrity models.
  • Contribute to the formulation, execution, and continuous refinement of data policies and procedures.


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related technical discipline is required.
  • The capability to understand and clearly convey complex transactions and models to different levels within the organization, emphasizing relevant information for the intended audience, is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have extensive experience in data mining, modeling, and data analysis using Excel. 
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with the flexibility to work the hours necessary to meet critical reporting and project deadlines. Must be highly reliable.
  • A strong desire to obtain intimate knowledge and understanding of the company's assets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective information exchange.
  • Strong focus on providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
