The Senior Communications Analyst will be providing the design and project management for various systems throughout the Enterprise Products communications infrastructure. This will include designing and implementing systems that integrate with wireless, voice, badge access, satellite, microwave and data networks. The management of communications projects and interfacing with many third-party vendors and contractors to complete those projects will be a common duty. This individual will also be responsible for the ultimate quality control of the deployed systems. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Knowledge of copper and fiber cabling standards to include the wiring of patch panels and wall jacks.
- Interface with customers to gather appropriate details for communications designs.
- Project management and deployment of communications designs.
- Interface with external contractors during project deployments and system problem resolutions.
- Develop and maintain the budgets for communications projects.
- Provide upper-level technical support for the field communications technicians.
- Research new technologies that could be utilized as communications solutions.
- Provide technical input on communications contracts and agreements.
- Generate technology standards documents.
- 25% travel.
Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- 7 to 10 years' experience working on the design and implementation of the Avaya and other products mentioned above.
- PMP certification is a plus
- Network certification (CCNA) is a plus.
- Microsoft, VMware vSphere & Linux certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of server hardware and Microsoft operating systems is a plus.
- Working knowledge regarding the integration of Avaya/Microsoft products.
- Experience in the design and integration of communications systems and the associated project management of those designs is required.
- Applicant should be able to effectively utilize Visio or CAD for system diagrams.
- The ability to communicate effectively while working with internal and external customers.
- Should be able to manage multiple communications projects while also fielding requests and support from various sources.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision and be self-motivated is required.
- Should be able to lift moderate weight and have the ability to kneel, bend and twist while installing or testing project deployments.
- Management of carrier services on Voice networks working with the Local exchange carrier (LEC) in installing, provisioning and troubleshooting Session Border Controls (SIP Trunks), Digital Trunks (ISDN), and Copper Trunks (POTS), and all aspects of voice and data infrastructures.
- Proficient in the following applications: VMware vCenter, Avaya Solution Deployment Manager (SDM), Avaya Multi-Site Administration, Ansible, Poly Len, Orion, WinSCP, Putty/Tutty, SecureCRT, HTTP/TFTP/DHCP Servers
- Experience with the Windows Server 2022/2019/2016, VMware and Avaya Appliance Virtualization Platform (AVP) ESXi, Avaya Solutions Platform (ASP), Linux OS.
- Experience in maintaining and upgrading Avaya media servers, gateways and its related circuit packs on Avaya Aura Communication Manager 10.x and earlier releases.
