The Operations Analyst is responsible for the gathering, tracking and analysis of financial and operational data for the Eastern Pipelines assets and converting that data into useful management information. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- O&M budget performance (Variance explanations for Actual, Plan and Forecast).
- Capital budget performance (Actual versus Plan).
- Annual budget preparations (Hyperion).
- System availability (downtime).
- Incident tracking (Safety, Environmental, Regulatory Compliance).
- System performance (throughput).
- Management information will be in the form of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reports to corporate and field management.
- Special projects and reports.
Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or commensurate work experience is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-3 years financial analysis experience is required.
- Experience at an intermediate level in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Outlook, and Project is required.
- Midstream energy business (gathering and processing, pipeline, fractionation or storage) or related field is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn new applications such as Oracle, PowerBI, Hyperion, PI and others.
- Ability to interpret, organize, chart, graph and present large amounts of data into useful management information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter and ability to work both independently and collaborate with other groups.
