Job Summary:
Under general supervision and direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor/Lead, the candidate will be responsible for the coordination and performance of ultrasound procedures as ordered by the physician. They will provide assistance to the Radiologist/physicians as requested with the technical factors involved in such ordered procedures. The candidate will work with a dynamic team of ultrasound techs and Radiologists to enrich the candidate's knowledge while gaining valuable work experience in a supportive, fast-paced, professional, and collaborative environment.

Hours: 8:30a-4:30p
Job Essentials: Review prescription and diagnosis to ensure the correct exam is being performed, review existing prior studies for accurate follow-up when applicable, interview the patient to elicit pertinent medical history, position patients accurately for the required study, restock the room with linen and supplies, communicate with team to coordinate patients with multiple modality office visits.
Education Requirements: Knowledge of general ultrasound, body and small parts excluding breast.
License/Certification/Registry: RDMS
