Summary:

Under general supervision provides patient services using imaging modalities. Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level. Responsible for maintaining supply levels. Provides a supervised competency based clinical education for students of radiography. Instructs students in clinical and classroom areas.  Supervises students in practical applications of theoretical concepts coverd in classroom. Instructs students in safe handling of patients and proper ethical and professional behavior during encounters patient and team encounters. Maintains accurate records of didactic and related courses attempted and/or completed by all students. Participates in all meetings as they pertain to the planning process of the School of Radiography. Assists Clinical Coordinator with all related duties necessary to maintain high standards of education.

Shift:  Day 
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (On Call as required)

Job Essentials:

  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Ability to perform radiographic procedures at a technical level. 
  • Proficient in appropriate clinical supervision/instruction and evaluation of student's clinical competency. 
  • Demonstrates service excellence in all interactions 
  • Performs other related duties as required.

 

Education Requirements: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.with significant technologist experience.  Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Satisfactory completion of a two year AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program


License/Certification/Registry:

  • NJ Radiology License
  • Must be A.R.R.T. registered
  • Maintains CPR Certification.
