Job Summary:
Outpatient Transportation Driver (OTD) transfer non-emergency patients to and from health or social care settings, including hospitals, for pre-arranged appointments. 

Department: BLS Ambulance Service
Location: Englewood, NJ 
Status: Full Time 
Shift: Days 
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Job Essentials:

• Ability to read maps and knowledge of the use of a GPS system 
• Excellent driving skills with between one and two years driving experience 
• Good spoken and written communication skills 
• Empathy, with the ability to reassure anxious or worried patients 
• Good time keeping and organizational skills 
• Ability to work under pressure 

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED 

License/Certification/Registry:

• Current driver's license with no moving violations and motor vehicle accidents.
