Job Summary:
To instruct and supervise employees engaged in the patient food service, employee cafeteria and specially catered functions. To ensure that the food service standards and schedules of quality, quantity and timeliness are followed. Demonstrates by example and nurtures in staff the standards of service excellence so that these standards represent minimum accepted behavior. Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of Food & Nutrition Services. Manage staff for optimum performance.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- Graduate of approved supervisory course; Certified Dietary Manager
- One year experience in a supervisory role
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to communicate with patients and nursing personnel; occasional contact with patient/patient's family.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma required.
