SCHEDULE: Full-time

The Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety provides leadership and organizational wide direction, development and implementation of services and programs within assigned areas.

This 100-bed, acute care hospital provides exceptional healthcare to south Sarasota communities, serving more than 49 thousand patients in 2018. Located on the north end of the Haze Peninsula, Englewood is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico with beautiful unspoiled beaches, world class fishing, and golfing. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Post Graduate Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field required or in process


Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience. Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations. Previous experience in the clinical, risk management, and/or administrative arenas preferred.


Licensure:

Current FL RN license Preferred or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.


Training:

CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) OR CHCQM (Diplomate in American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians)

Individuals without CPHQ or ABQUARP will be granted a 12 month grace period to obtain CPHQ or ABQAURP to obtain, if all other qualifications are met.
