Someone who LOVES to keep our resort maintained and working and who is seeking a junior leadership / supervisory role 

What you will be doing

In this role, you will be the Lead Engineer, who reports directly to the Director of Engineering- You will  help maintain the interior and exterior of the hotel including but not limited to; guest rooms, public restrooms, public spaces, Holiday / Seasonal Décor,  fixtures, vending areas, storage areas and other designated items as needed. Responding to guests maintenance requests courteously, promptly, and resolving matters to the guest's and management's satisfaction.


Requirements : Familiar with different types of tools and equipment, work in a shop setting as well as front of the house / heart of the house parts of our resort- Daily you will utilize abilities to converse in basic (reading,+ writing ) English and use measuring, calculations/ math skills - Leadership / supervisory experience necessary.  This is a team environment so you must be non-abrasive and communicate and train in a positive manner to all staff and assist guests. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment. Must understand and have the ability to quickly learn resorts' computer programs for some of the online programs which we utilize daily. 

Education & Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Two to Four years certificate, trade or degree preferred. 

Two plus years progressive related experience and/or training. Certificates may be requested for previous experience / skills / trade
