Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct Re-employment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) interviews which may include developing claimant action plan or work search directives, conducting follow-up to assist customers, assessing client work readiness/employability skills, offering resources and information related to training options, identifying career goals, and facilitating referrals to partnering agencies.
  • Plan, administer, and report reemployment activities and coordinate, promote maximum attendance at mandatory workshops, and conduct 45 day and final file reviews. 
  • Outline labor market information and opportunities; assist with development of job search plans and refer customers to external job openings.
  • Monitor return to work and/or customer employment status, placement number ratios, and record data and case management records in state database systems produce necessary information and reports.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.  Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University preferred. 
  • 3+ years relevant work experience. Experience working with the targeted population.
  • Must have an appropriate and valid state driver's license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.

About Our Workforce Programs

Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers.  Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities.  We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
