- Job Details
- The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
- Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
- Job Requirements
- The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Maintains a State License as a general radiographer.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) preferred.

- Shift: 4x10's, Mon - Fri, 8-1630
- On-Call required: yes
