- Thoroughly complete psychosocial assessments.
- Thoroughly complets discharge plans.
- Complete treatment plan interventions with signatures.
- Provide individual/family sessions appropriate to the patients needs.
- Provide group therapy appropriate to population.
- Attend and participate in treatment planning meetings.
- Collaborate with attending physician and nursing staff regarding safety, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with referral source and continuing care providers.
- Display professionalism in dealing with patients, staff, and clinicians.
- Complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Follows all hospital policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation: Master's Degree from an accredited Social Work program or Master's Degree in a related field, which provided appropriate background and experience. Education should be clinically focused with study in human life span development, psychopathology, and clinical treatment interventions based on diagnosis and evidenced based practice. Licensure: Licensed eligible and actively pursuing clinical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a licensed clinican (LCSW or LPC) preferred. Supervision hours are provided based on eligibility and demand.
Certifications: CPR-BLS for healthcare providers required. Crisis Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience preferred.
