Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons, P.C. in the Des Moines, Iowa, metric is seeking discussions with Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Surgeons interested in joining a long standing organization with a heart for patients. We are seeking to add a Total Joint Orthopaedic Surgeon. Whether you are currently practicing and seeking a change in lifestyle in a thriving Midwest city, or if you are a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon going into a practice of total joint services, we want you to explore our practice. The Role: We are seeking Board Certified Fellowship Trained Total Joint (Hip and Knee) Orthopaedic Surgeon interested in joining a long standing organization with a heart for patients. In the first two years, the surgeon is fully supported by ancillary and clinical staff. After two full years, the surgeon is up for partnership opportunities for a full service practice.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be fellowship trained or in training in their area of expertise in Orthopaedic surgery. The position will require Board Certification, active Iowa state license (upon hire) and at least five years of direct patient care experience is required. DMOS does not offer any “J1 Visa” at this time. This position does not accept DMP candidates due to the scope of Orthopaedic support needed for shared call at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Located in our West Des Moines, IA, office, you will be working in the largest hospital system in Central Iowa. DMOS has access to Outpatient Ancillary Surgery Centers and serves within a hospital system that offers a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital and two full service hospitals. Partnership opportunities available upon 2 years of service.
