Description: School Nurses-Matsu Borough School District
Alaska's 2nd largest school district is looking to hire several School Nurses for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year! We are located 45 minutes outside of Anchorage, AK. We have 19,000+ students across 49 schools. Our communities include: Glacier View, Sutton, Palmer, Wasilla, Butte, Knik-Fairview, Meadow Lakes, Big Lake, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek.

Position Description: Provide comprehensive health services in accordance with law and District procedures for each individual student.
Knowledge: Ability to obtain Alaska Certificate Type C (school nurse), active RN license, and Bachelor's degree.
Salary: $53,205 $81,223, 185 days/year (summers off!) Depending on verification of service and education. MSBSD has a competitive Salary Schedule with an accelerated step advancement. Applicants can bring a maximum of 4 years' experience. We pay an additional $3,000 bonus PER YEAR for National Certification.
Leave: Each Certified Teacher receives 4 paid personal leave days at the beginning of the year and accrues 1.33 sick leave days each month of employment.
Retirement: MSBSD is a member of the State of Alaska Teachers Retirement System.
