**Job Title: Medication Technician (Care Manager)**

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
- Oversee the medication distribution process, maintaining thorough and accurate records for each resident.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, residents, and families regarding any changes in medication or resident care plans.
- Assist in the evaluation, modification, and implementation of individual care plans to meet the specific needs of each resident.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure safe medication practices and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Educate residents and their families on medication management, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor residents' progress and adjust care strategies accordingly.
- Provide compassionate support to residents, fostering a nurturing and safe living environment.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices in medication management and senior care.
**Qualifications:**
- Certification or licensure as a Medication Technician or equivalent healthcare qualification.
- Experience in a care management role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of healthcare software and electronic health records systems is an advantage.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
