Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents/guests. This position requires a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for enhancing the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all designated areas.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock bathrooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Manage laundry services, which include washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and personal items.
- Change bedding, make beds, and ensure that all bedrooms and living areas are tidy and organized.
- Remove trash and recyclables from all areas, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and correctly.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies regarding cleanliness and sanitation.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident/guest requests promptly and courteously.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a hospitality or residential setting.
**Working Conditions:**
- May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and potential allergens.
