Due to continued growth, Discovery Senior Living adding a Business Intelligence Analyst to their home office team in Bonita Springs, FL.

The role of the Business Intelligence Analyst will be to support end-to-end analytics and to prepare regularly scheduled and ad-hoc reporting across all areas of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Maintains a thorough understanding of all relevant business data, business data rules and logic, and how that data is captured and stored.

·         Extracts data from source systems using a variety of methods.

·         Lands the data into a variety of storage formats for future retrieval and consumption.

·         Cleanses and transforms data for reporting and analytics consumption.

·         Creates custom measures and views to facilitate reporting and analytics.

·         Creates reports and visualizations in Excel and Power BI for stakeholder consumption.

·         Manages user onboarding and access to reporting systems.

·         Trains users on how to operate reporting systems.

·         Trains users on how to interpret reporting outputs.

·         Prepares regularly scheduled reporting for internal (other departments) and external stakeholders.

·         Maintains and updates business data system and process documentation.

·         Uses self-directed initiative to identify reporting needs that may enhance business performance.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or other related field.

·         Minimum of 3 years experience working in an analytical role with Excel, Power Query, Data Modeling, DAX, and SQL experience.
