Position Title:

External Description: Responsibilities

  • Data Governance / Accountability - Experience rolling out a data domain model, data stewardship, setting up a data governance structure, etc.
  • Data Analytics - Experience with Tableau, SQL, strong excel skills, automation background, etc.
  • Data Lineage / Quality - Experience in Axon or Collibra, understanding data and business process flows as well as critical data elements, data prioritization, metadata management, implementing data controls, etc.
  • Understanding various business processes
  • Communicate complexities of the data domain process to stakeholders across the firm and drive creation of deliverables to achieve understanding at all levels.
  • Provide guidance related to Key Risk Indicators and other metrics for the management and monitoring of risk.
  • Stay abreast of industry practices, assess impact of news events on company risk management practices.
  • Contribute to developing new solutions within the Enterprise Risk & Quantitative Advisory.
  • Identify and foster long-term relationships with new and existing target clients.
  • Help recruit, lead, and retain top talent within the advisory industry.
  • Develop lasting relationships with senior executives of leading organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the firm's leadership.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Information Systems or Business Administration.
  • 8+ years of experience in supporting client business processes within banking
  • Experience in delivering projects with data components (e.g. worked in data governance, warehousing, or analytics environment) and a solid understanding of application development projects.
  • Hands-on approach to delivering projects, engaging with stakeholders, managing risks and issues, i.e., become the go to person / relationship manager.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to change your communication style depending on the audience (ability to influence)
  • Adaptability and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • An understanding of data governance framework, data lineage, and data quality
  • Experience managing multiple threads of work, moving at different paces
  • Proven ability to simplify tasks, processes, and breakdown deliverables into manageable chunks of work


Preferred Qualification:
  • An understanding of different governance platforms (e.g. IGC, Informatica, Collibra, Axon)
  • Ability to influence outcomes in a matrixed environment
  • Knowledge in putting together a SharePoint site
