Instructor needed to teach the following Lifelong Wellness Activity courses:



LWA 113 – TAI KWON DO I
This course is an introduction to non-contact martial arts stressing technique and qualities of respect, self-discipline, and skills of self-defense.



LWA 114 – TAE KWON DO II
This course provides an opportunity to utilize advanced techniques in a non-contact martial art class at the intermediate level. This course is mainly designed for yellow stripe through sixth gup color belts.



LWA 210 – TAE KWON DO III
This course provides an opportunity to utilize advanced techniques in a non-contact martial art class at an advanced intermediate level.



LWA 115 – AIKIDO
This course provides an introduction to a non-aggressive martial art stressing use of spiritual energy, self-cultivation, mutual respect, and skills of self-defense.

The following are the objective and expected outcomes in each of the courses:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the health-related components of fitness as they relate to wellness.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of healthy nutrition.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of major muscle groups.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of heart rates and training zones.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the dimensions of wellness.
  • Explain the concepts and components of Tae Kwon Do I, Tai Kwon Do II, Tai Kwon Do III or Aikido.
  • Demonstrate safe and proper techniques of Tae Kwon Do I, Tai Kwon Do II, Tai Kwon Do III or Aikido.


* Associate Degree* Minimum Red Belt
* 5+ Years Teaching Experience
