Caremark, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Richardson, TX: Senior Advisor, Application Development. Responsible for the following - formulary and benefits domain knowledge: provide subject matter expertise in the area of formulary and benefits within the realm of prescription benefit management (PBM) for CVS Health. To be effective in this advisor role, the resource needs to be knowledgeable of the operational and domain knowledge to be able to successfully implement the business rules into technical coding. Project delivery: work closely with teams to provide benchmarked solutions to complex technical project requirements or client needs, including technical design, problem resolution, implementation and operational issues. Play lead role as needed in technically complex phases of projects/initiatives, take accountability for technical quality and workability of solutions. Project owner: able to lead and own medium to large projects as a project owner within application area as well as within pbm (3 or less application areas). Project execution: lead the estimation and initiation of project execution. Lead support for technical and non-functional requirements. Lead design for small to medium projects and lead efforts for BSR. Ensure coding standards, reviewing test cases, and results of projects. Support QA and UAT testing. Technical leadership and expertise: responsible for complex code development. Identify, analyze and design areas for improvement, present recommendations and implement changes as appropriate.
Six (6) years of experience working in an SDLC environment in the healthcare industry. Must also have six (6) years of experience with AS/400 application development; SQL; Oracle; Synon/Cool:2E; IBM X-Analysis; and Aldon. 10% domestic travel required.

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
