The individual in this role will contribute to the design, execution, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform across multiple modules. Liaising with technology teams, process owners and counterparts to define, execute and manage application sustainment, enhancement, and/or new development. Reporting to the Lead IT Director, Platform Engineering, this position is critical in supporting the development and implementation of the overall ServiceNow platform. This role will also have cross functional collaboration responsibilities with other areas of ServiceNow Platform, including but not limited to being the first point of contact for defect management, and new enhancement development. *Primary duties and responsibilities* * *Platform Configuration and Design*: Contribute to the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements. Develop and customize applications, modules, and workflows within the ServiceNow platform. Implement and configure ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and other relevant applications. Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications as required. Contribute to health scan remediation and addressing ongoing performance improvements. * *Integration and Automation: *Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs, web services, and other integration methods. Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and business rules to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Build e-bonding, inbound and outbound integrations to automate transactions and data transfer. Manage configuration items (CIs) and configuration management databases (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for IT assets and services. * *Reporting and Analytic Engineering:* Create custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide insights and metrics related to IT services and business processes.  Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, system administrators, and end-users, to gather and analyze requirements.  Provide guidance, training, and support to end-users and other teams to ensure effective use of the ServiceNow platform. Design and improve UX analytics, performance analytics, and queries against ServiceNow replica database. * *Documentation and Knowledge Sharing*:  Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and system architecture diagrams.  Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by disseminating best practices, tips, and insights to the development team and wider stakeholders. Conduct rigorous unit testing and actively participate in system integration testing, ensuring the reliability and stability of developed solutions.  Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve any identified issues or defects. *Required Skills:* * 4+ years of hands-on experience in delivering ServiceNow tools and processes, including integrations and standard platform development * 2+ years of experience with coding/scripting, configurations and advanced capabilities such as UI Scripting, UI Actions, Business Rules, Workflow UI actions, Business Rules, Flow Designer, App Engine etc. *Preferred Skills:* * ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. * Experience designing and developing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (Workday, IAM, Azure, Salesforce), including use of ServiceNow's Integration Hub, and/or custom APIs. * Expertise in available ServiceNow APIs and a good understanding of various API architectural styles, including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Webhook, WebSocket, file-based integrations etc. * Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, Jelly, HTML, JSON, CSS, AngularJS, Jelly, Ajax, jQuery. * Experience in , Workflow development, client-side/server-side scripts, Jelly scripts, SLA's. * Experience with ServiceNow development tools such as flow designer, business rules, scripts, and Access Control List (ACL) rules. * Server-side scripts utilizing the most efficient GlideRecord methods to reduce overall processing time. * Strong knowledge and ability of Server Administration across OS platforms, including the understanding of described domain structures, user permission levels, group policy objects and the execution of SUDO policies. * Domain Separation and designing the Process and data flow within various domains * Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and agent workspace, table management, performance analytics. * Hands-on MID-server configuration experience and architecture understanding. * Experience working in a SAFe/Agile team. *Education* * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience. *BUSINESS OVERVIEW* Bring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
