We're seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is ready to take on the challenge of driving the successful delivery of technical Workday Advanced Compensation projects and initiatives. This person will be part of a team responsible for ensuring Workday meets the needs of CVS Health's Human Resources business partners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical partners.  You will be main lead for the Annual Compensation technology components within Workday, collaborating with HR Business Partners, COEs and HR Shared Services across all business segments. You will establish deep cross-functional relationships throughout Human Resources to ensure solutions and initiatives are effectively designed and implemented. ***Open to remote for candidates in other locations. *** *Primary Responsibilities include:* * Collaborates with business and technical partners to develop technical priorities and roadmap, including the established list of global priorities for the HCM functional area. * Leads the configuration of Annual Compensation setup in Workday, including eligibility for Merit, Bonus and Long Term Incentive * Launch the Advanced Compensation process in Workday for relevant organizations, and process the cycle end to end * Collaborate with Total Rewards and Data Management teams on employee audits to ensure merit and bonus updates are accurate * Liaise with the HR Technology integration team and provide functional requirements and input for BIRT Compensation Statements * Thoroughly understands the requirements from Total Rewards for Annual Compensation events, evaluates Workday capabilities based on these needs, and determines what new features to implement * Proactively identify risks and challenges within configuration and develop plan to resolve before they become issues * Collaborate with Total Rewards and QA Team on smoke testing and full End to End testing of the Adanced Compensation cycle in Workday * Continuously strive to improve the efficiency and setup of configuration for each cycle, analyzing lessons learned and enhancing process and configuration * Anticipate the needs of the business, drawing on experience when providing recommendations. * Identify and diagnose defects and bugs quickly, and quickly put in mitigations to prevent and resolve issues. * Partner with HR Tech leadership on escalations and cross-functional impact, serving as primary point of contact on follow up and resolution. * Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to maintain transparency, consistency in delivery, and set expectations. * Direct business on necessary functional end to end and/or regression testing on all enhancements and fixes. Partner with Staff Development / Change Management on necessary communication for global functional changes, including updates to job aides and other materials. * Lead the translation of business requirements to technical solutions and creating appropriate timelines. * Develop and monitor parallel project tracks for translations and global communication initiatives. * Maintain up to date documentation in tracking tools. Manage the ServiceNow Request process for functional area, ensuring that tickets are migrated to JIRA as appropriate * Provides strategic guidance and subject matter expertise on functional area capabilities and limitations. * Ensures adherence to industry best practice, actively engaging with Workday Community on future releases within Workday Advanced Compensation. Encourages product innovation and alternative ways of approaching business. * Understand impact that technical changes have on other areas and modules, such as Core Compensation and Payroll. * Partner with HR Shared Services Leadership, HR Technology and HR Leaders to develop and execute both long- and short-term strategic plans for Workday Annual Compensation *Required Qualifications* * 7+ years of experience in a Workday Advanced Compensation Functional Lead role, or other related capacity * 7+ years HCM or HRIS experience or equivalent in another similar field * A solid understanding of, and experience with, the Workday HCM suite of products and services * An understanding of the HR technology landscape, including cloud computing and mobile technologies *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience working in a global environment * Project Management experience * The ability to develop and sustain relationships with business partners and stakeholders * The ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks * A strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. *Education* Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $106,605.00 - $247,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
