Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Lead Director, Data Engineer to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for data engineering teams. Duties include: direct daily Data Engineering operations across the enterprise, analyze workflow, establish priorities, and develop standards; apply analytical rigor and advanced statistical methods to the analysis of large amounts of data from PBM, Specialty, Retail, and/or HealthCare business; lead a team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists designing and delivering analytics projects and experiments that inform solutions for in-house teams (i.e., pharmacy pricing, medical costs, risk scores, onboarding) and customer engagement across critical journeys (i.e., calories, heart rate, breast cancer, maternity); manage large and complex analytical projects from data exploration, model building, performance evaluation and testing to evaluate scenarios, predict outcomes, and provide usable information on health metrics and potential future outcomes; identify evolving business needs that can be addressed with advanced analytics and translate analytics into business value; present analytics results and compelling business insights to executives; review project plans and coordinate project activity; and assign and review the work of Data Engineers and mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. - Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: cloud platforms including Azure, GCP, or AWS; visualization tools including Tableau or PowerBI; Hadoop, Spark, and Hive; programming in SQL and Python; PySpark and Scala; designing data models with Erwin; Informatica for Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) and data integration; machine learning models including clustering, regression, classification, and neural networks; designing on-prem and cloud data pipelines; traditional relational data warehouse technologies including Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; and enterprise data governance strategy and best practices. Telecommuting available. Pay Range: $184309.00/year to $280000.00/year. Multiple Openings.
