You are joining a team that cares for the well-being of our colleagues by working together in a supportive, collaborate and agile environment. *Position Summary* The Lead Director of Corporate Events will be accountable for ensuring strategic and operational alignment of all meetings and conferences, and other internal and external events with the overall business strategy for each of our primary business segments. This role will develop an annual calendar, ensure Corporate Event assets foster business growth, manage overall budgets on behalf of business partners with a focus on increasing cost savings and efficiencies, and implementing KPI to measure our efforts. The candidate also will drive a disciplined and consistent customer experience, while measuring ROI. Position will be onsite 3 days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Hartford, CT office. Depending on needs of business, could require onsite for Monday and Friday. Responsibilities include, but limited to: * Strategically work with internal business partners across the Enterprise to understand, facilitate and support their goals and objectives while proactively and effectively integrating events into business plans that help grow our business and achieve desired outcomes. * Collaborate with business leaders - with a particular focus on events in the Hartford, CT and Woonsocket, RI offices - to deeply understand business strategies and help drive and manage events in these facilities. * Create and enhance use of accurate and actionable analytics and reporting to support decision-making. * Identify operational challenges and develop solution-based strategies/processes * Collaborate with cross functional teams such as legal, IT, HR, and marketing to continue to implement operational efficiencies and reduce costs * Partner with external agencies, vendors and works with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, marketing operations to develop and successfully execute programs. * Ensure compliance policy and procedures are followed, completes all required approvals and processes. * Remain current and updated on industry trends in event management and integrates them into the design of the event, when applicable. *Required Qualifications*: * Minimum 8 years of meeting management experience with internal and external customers. * Cvent expertise (RFP, website development, overall management, communications, reporting) *Travel required:* This position will require approximately 25%-50% travel including weekends. Must be able to carry and lift heavy objects up to 35 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license to rent cars. *Education*: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required * CMP certificate, preferred * Cvent Certification, preferred *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,500.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
