Join Our Team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center

At Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC), we're more than just a healthcare organization - we're a community dedicated to making a meaningful impact. For more than 60 years, we've been providing compassionate, high-quality care in the Greater Brainerd Lakes Area and beyond. Our team is driven by a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and putting people first - both our patients and our employees. Whether you're on the front lines of patient care or supporting operations behind the scenes, you'll find a culture of collaboration, growth, and respect. If you're looking for a career where your work truly matters, we invite you to join us at CRMC and be part of something bigger.

A Day in the Life of an RN - Home Care

As a Registered Nurse in Home Care, you will prioritize patient welfare through compassionate and direct patient care, aligning with the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's goals. This role involves utilizing the nursing process for assessment and care planning, effectively coordinating patient care in consultation with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Challenges include adapting to diverse patient needs and maintaining up-to-date clinical skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. Collaboration is crucial, as you will lead and supervise a team including LPNs and Home Health Aides. Your work structure is characterized by both independence in managing your caseload and teamwork in ensuring comprehensive patient care and education.

About the Home Care Nursing Department:
Expert Care in the Home

What makes Home Care Nursing unique is the deep, one-on-one connections we build with patients. Unlike in a hospital setting, where care is often fast-paced and episodic, home care allows for personalized, ongoing support tailored to each individual's needs. No two days are the same, one visit may involve helping a patient recover from surgery, while another means teaching a family how to manage a complex condition, and another is supporting a family at the time of a loved one's passing. Our nurses work autonomously while being part of a strong, collaborative team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care, no matter where they live. If you're looking for a career where your expertise brings independence, dignity, and quality of life to patients in their homes, Home Care Nursing is where you belong.
