A Day in the Life of a Nursing Assistant - Visiting Specialty Clinic (NA/NAR/CNA) As a Nursing Assistant in our visiting specialty clinic, you will primarily support physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and superb patient care. Your daily responsibilities include rooming patients, conducting basic health assessments such as measuring vital signs and performing EKGs, and assisting with medical procedures as needed. You will also handle indirect care duties like maintaining accurate medical charts, stocking clinic supplies, and ensuring communication flow between patients and healthcare providers. Challenges may include managing multiple tasks efficiently under tight schedules and adhering to strict confidentiality and safety protocols. Collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals is essential to facilitate a seamless patient experience and clinic functionality. Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- One year experience providing hands on patient care
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- High School diploma or GED -OR- on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire
