A Day in the Life of an Education and Simulation Assistant Intern

This internship supports the education team by managing digital learning systems and organizing electronic files. The role also assists with in-person training sessions, including classroom setup and simulation equipment operation. Tasks range from independent computer work to collaborative efforts during live learning events. You'll regularly interact with educators and learners to help deliver quality, engaging training. While most hours follow a weekday schedule, occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required based on training needs.

 

About the Facility Education Department: Training Experts, Elevating Care

Education is the foundation of exceptional healthcare, and the Facility Education team at CRMC ensures that every employee has the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their role. While providing comprehensive training for all employees, this department also has a state-of-the-art simulation lab to create realistic, hands-on learning experiences for nurses. From new hire orientation and continuing education to high-tech clinical simulations that prepare nurses for complex patient scenarios, this team is dedicated to fostering growth, competency, and excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required
  • Must be a high-school graduate and align with one of these scenarios at the time of application.
  • Be registered with a post-secondary institution (minimum of part time) OR Be a graduate of a post-secondary institution and begin the internship within two weeks of graduation date.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
