Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
CPS
Home-based/Remote

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with CPS, supporting Therigy, will be responsible for creating end-to-end test plans, managing plan activities, ensuring objectives are met and confirming solutions function as expected. The Quality Assurance Engineer will work with engineering, product and QA teams to enhance and advance testing efforts for Therigy.

Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000 based on experience

Primary Responsibilities: (not all inclusive)

  • Create test plans, data, and cases.
  • Created automated tests using Cypress & JavaScript.
  • Perform release testing and validation.
  • Ensure functional coverage and quality for APIs & Web pages (built on Angular & React).
  • Implement tools and techniques supporting robust automation for web applications and services and running test suites.
  • Perform manual web, API, functional, regression as needed.
  • Write and/or modify SQL queries to perform database validation.
  • Work with team to reduce error rates and perform root cause analysis of errors/trends.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or in lieu of degree related experience and education 
  • 3+ years of related experience developing manual and automated tests using industry recognized testing tools
  • Experience building automated E2E tests with JavaScript (Cypress experience a plus)
  • Experience with manual UI and API testing
  • Skilled in API testing using Postman or related tool
  • Experience with Agile development a plus
  • Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Familiarity with Jira & Confluence for project planning and documentation
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS)
  • Familiarity with SQL and ETL testing
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal and external clients
  • Specialty Pharmacy and/or Healthcare experience a plus; aptitude for acquiring strong industry knowledge
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
