Quality Assurance Analyst
CPS
Home-based/Remote

The Quality Assurance Analyst with CPS, supporting Therigy, will be responsible for creating end-to-end test plans, managing plan activities, ensuring objectives are met and confirming solutions function as expected. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work with engineering, product and QA teams to enhance and advance testing efforts for Therigy.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 based on experience

Primary Responsibilities: (not all inclusive)

  • Create test plans, data, and cases for Sprints and Releases.
  • Perform release testing and validation.
  • Ensure functional coverage and quality for DB, APIs & Web pages.
  • Implement tools and techniques supporting for web applications, services and running test suites.
  • Create, Maintain and Perform manual web, API, functional, regression suite.
  • Write and/or modify SQL queries to perform database validation.
  • Work with team to reduce error rates and perform root cause analysis of errors/trends.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or in lieu of degree related experience and education.
  • 3-5+ years of direct experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing
  • 3 years of direct experience as a tester for major application integration and/or major application product release
  • Experience with manual UI, DB and API testing.
  • Skilled in API testing using Postman or related tool.
  • Experience with Agile development a plus.
  • Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira & Confluence for project planning and documentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with SQL and ETL testing.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal and external clients.
  • Specialty Pharmacy and/or Healthcare experience a plus; aptitude for acquiring strong industry knowledge.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Make recommendations for improvement of applications.
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. 
  • Analyze formal test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. 
  • Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies. 
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices. 
  • Understands their responsibility under the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules as they relate to this job description. 
  • Experience in data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
