Pharmacy Technician - Full Time
Fairmount Behavioral Health System
Philadelphia, PA

As a full-time, non-exempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Fairmount Behavioral Health System, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; procuring drugs; Re-package medication, maintaining inventory, performing monthly medication room inspections; running the billing; and auditing patient records.  You will need to be able to lift up to 10 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods, and walk to deliver medications several times daily within the campus.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours a week primarily daytime hours. The position may be required to work some extended hours some holidays and weekends as business necessitates.

Starting Pay:  $17 - $19 per hour/annually, (Depending on related work experience)

About the Facility:  Fairmount Behavioral Health System is located on a 27-acre wooded campus in Philadelphia that offers patients and families a peaceful and therapeutic environment for recovery. A highly regarded treatment center, Fairmount is a resource for children, adolescents, and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy technician experience is preferred but willing to train someone with applicable experience
  • Experience working in a high-volume/fast pace environment
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills; verbal and written
  • Must be comfortable interacting with patients suffering from a mental illness
