Pharmacy Clerk- Full Time
Lake Charles Memorial Hospital - Moss Memorial Clinic
Lake Charles, LA
As a nonexempt, full time, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Clerk, you will perform general clerical duties and services within the pharmacy under the supervision of a director or licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include the proper delivery and return of medications and documentation to and from patient care units; stocking inventory; answering phones; helping patients at the pick-up window; packing and scanning medication bags: and logging, sorting, and filing correspondence and other records as directed.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours a week, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
Starting Pay: $13.00 per hour
About the Facility: As part of Lake Charles Memorial Health System, Moss Memorial Health Clinic, provides outpatient services. Moss Memorial Clinic Pharmacy supports the Clinic; activities of the clinic pharmacy are focused on oncology, rheumatology, and infectious disease services. The Pharmacy has been outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office including outlook and excel
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
- Recent experience in customer service preferred
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
