Marketing Intern
CPS Corporate Office
Remote/Homebased
As a temporary, full time, nonexempt Marketing Intern with CPS Solutions (CPS), you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration of marketing activities, performing select executive administrative tasks (managing marketing collateral, coordinating logistics for trade shows), coordinating projects and providing follow-through to completion. In this role, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer or Marketing Senior Director.
Schedule: This temporary full time position, will work mid-June to mid August. The position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday day shifts and may include evenings and weekends based upon business needs.
Pay rate: The starting pay rate is $18-$20 per hour, depending upon related experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Masters program in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business field
- Ability to gather data and monitor information with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word, Power Point, Excel and MS Project
- Strong communication skills (both verbal & written) with all levels within the organization
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines
- Ability to complete job functions and tasks with a high level of confidentiality
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in work with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, case studies, presentations, and other customer facing materials for both digital and print
- Working with the marketing team to design and develop appropriate advertising content for placement in a variety of client facing channels
- Assisting in development of marketing reports, competitive intelligence and detailed insights on market competitors
- Working with sales teams, internal stakeholders and the outside design agency to build materials for supporting key customer acquisition and retention activities
- Performing other marketing support activities as assigned
