Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Full Time
OSS Orthopaedic Hospital

As a full-time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Clinical Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This full-time, non-exempt position will work 40 hours per week and will also be available for holidays and weekends.
Starting Pay: $128,000 annually, depending on related work experience
About the Facility: The OSS Orthopaedic Hospital is the first and only free-standing facility in the York area dedicated exclusively to orthopaedic surgery. It is owned and operated by the physicians of OSS Health who are board-certified and fellowship-trained in the many areas of orthopaedics. The focus for patients is on providing you with an excellent experience during your stay. This specialty hospital is committed to low infection rates and superior clinical results. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy operates with a decentralized model utilizing the following technology: CPOE, Cerner, and CPSI, and provides support to the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative surgical services offered to patients visiting the hospital. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 5:00am to 6:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of PA
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program is strongly preferred
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- Hepatitis B3 Series or declination

- PA Child Abuse Registry
- Covid-19 Vaccination
