PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (40 HOURS A WEEK) FULTON STATE HOSPITAL FULTON, MISSOURI
Hours: This position is 40 hours a week with a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
About the Facility: Fulton State Hospital located in Fulton, MO is a 400+ bed state mental Health Facility. Near its location in mid-Missouri, there are two colleges located in the city. The city is known for the National Churchill Museum, Kemper Center for the Arts and Westminster Gallery, Backer Auto World Museum. Several Wineries are in the area along with Bed and Breakfast Inns. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to Pharmacy Systems, Inc. (PSI). This position is an employee of PSI.
Required Qualifications: (Technician)
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
currently a Licensed Pharmacy Technician or eligible for pharmacy Technician License in the state of Missouri.
