Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a board eligible or board-certified General Ophthalmologist or fellowship trained Glaucoma physician in Denver, Colorado at our Franklin Medical Office.
We have an excellent opportunity to join a highly collegial team of ophthalmologists.
Our practice is stable and growing. We are one of the largest ophthalmology practices in Colorado. We are protected from nonmedical interests such as private equity. This is a shareholder track position with opportunity at year 3 to become a shareholder of Colorado Permanente Medical Group.
Our group is 18 collegial and supportive ophthalmologists with nearly all subspecialities represented including 2 full time glaucoma subspecialists. The practice you will step into is turn-key. Volumes excess of sufficient to support a third surgical glaucoma subspecialist exist currently without need for practice building.
Our physicians are free to focus on clinical medicine. The practice is professionally managed. Though opportunities to pursue leadership roles exist, there is no expectation of administrative responsibilities for group physicians.
State of the art equipment, devices, AI Abridge and Epic EMR are in use. You will practice at a new medical office with an onsite ambulatory surgery center. There is no expectation to satellite.
Our general ophthalmologists provide cataract care with cataract surgery, medical retina with intravitreal injections, medical glaucoma and provide in office procedures chalazion, lesion removal and lasers.
Our glaucoma subspecialists see patients on a referral basis and also offer cataract care. medical and surgical glaucoma is managed in conjunction with supporting integrated Kaiser Permanente general ophthalmologists and optometrists. Our glaucoma subspecialists perform cataract surgery, MIGS, lasers, and more complex glaucoma surgeries. Due to the tremendous breadth and depth of experience in our group there is always opportunity to concentrate on specific interest and develop new skills.
