AP Contractor/Vendor Coordinator 

The AP Contractor/Vendor Coordinator is responsible for screening documents required for contractor/suppliers for an assigned group of Home Centers.  The Candidate will be responsible for entering this information for the Supplier Maintenance Team to review and authorize.  Candidates will work closely with Home Center Managers and Staff, and Regional Vice-Presidents and will also be responsible for coaching Home Center team members concerning procedure and requirements needed to set up a contractor/supplier. 

Responsibilities 

  • Obtain and apply business knowledge to carry out tasks (reconciling, processing, and auditing invoices).  

  • Obtain documents and information needed to complete assigned tasks from HCs and third parties.  

  • Reconcile data from multiple sources and enter into systems.  

  • Process invoices in a timely manner and track any status issues.  

  • Obtain needed information, provide documentation and input to HCs and Suppliers to ensure tasks are completed.  

  • Update HCs and third parties clearly and frequently.  

  • Answer questions and resolve any processing issues that may arise. 

  • Understand the processes involved in your work process (one step up the chain and one step below).  

Requirements: 

  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills 

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills 

  • Complete large volume of work, on time and with accuracy 

  • Work with legal, regulatory and company requirements. 

  • Strong Data Entry Skills 

  • Excellent Attention to Detail and Thoroughness 

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel 

  • Previous AP experience preferred, but not required 

  • Previous experience in other compliance driven role is a plus. 

  • Willingness to submit to a Background Check and pre-employment Drug Screen 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
