1 temporary full-time position for 4 months intended specifically for students enrolled in an Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IT Business Analysis or related co-op or equivalent post-secondary work experience diploma program. Other education programs with a work experience component may be considered. Commencing January 2027

This position will be working within the Infrastructure Services Department and support the Project Management Centre of Excellence, Process Improvement team- driving organizational effectiveness through continuous learning, innovation, and improvement that supports the work of the Department.
What will you do?
- Identify opportunities across daily workflows in project management to streamline processes
- Develop solutions and guidelines that allow project managers to utilize Google Workspace tools effectively
- Explore, test, and implement available AI tools to automate project management processes
- Author clear user guides for newly streamlined processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Design, build, and test basic automated scripts or custom AI workflows to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate directly with internal teams to track deliverables and support project operations
- Capture and distribute structured meeting minutes, action items, and decision logs
- Currently enrolled in an architectural design technology, interior design, urban planning or related post secondary diploma co-op program. Other education programs with a work experience component may also be considered
Assets:
- Experience using Google Workspace applications or equivalent applications
- Demonstrated ability using AutoCAD and reading architectural plans
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license (or provincial equivalent)
