As a Strategic Service Delivery Analyst, you will be instrumental in creating and managing a program that streamlines interdepartmental communication and issue resolution. This involves overseeing the intake, processing, and tracking of inquiries, ensuring that stakeholders are promptly engaged and receive timely follow-up. You will lead initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide guidance and mentorship to a team. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of City services, contributing to a positive experience for both internal teams and the community we serve. What will you do?

  • Create/develop a program to encompass the vision for a construction site safety program, managing construction related inquiries and complaints
  • Champion the design and implementation of an innovative program that addresses construction-related inquiries and feedback
  • Foster collaboration with essential regulatory partners (e.g., Community Standards, Development Compliance, Occupational Health & Safety) to enhance communication and problem-solving, encouraging diverse perspectives and creative solutions to complex challenges
  • Facilitate meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders, including community members, internal City Staff, and Councillors, to support effective action
  • Utilize data and information analysis to identify key areas for focus and streamline processes in a way that is responsive and equitable
  • Harness data analytics to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and inform data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
  • Promote continuous improvement by monitoring operational effectiveness and advocating for impactful recommendations
  • Address escalated inquiries with empathy and expertise, providing thorough responses and working towards equitable resolutions
  • Foster accountability by working alongside stakeholders to meet commitments outlined in agreements and terms of reference
  • Engage proactively with business associations and community leagues to understand and address community needs
  • Support team member growth through coaching, feedback, and goal setting, building a supportive and high-performing team environment
