Reporting to the Data Engineering team lead within the Data Analytics program, the Senior Data Engineering Analyst will play a pivotal role in our organization's data strategy by designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, databases, and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is collected, processed, and made available for analysis and reporting. This role is essential in supporting data-driven
decision-making and the overall success of our business.

What will you do?

• Work with internal and external customers to understand their business intelligence needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, build, and implement data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, data integration, extraction, warehousing, and monitoring
• Take minimal requirements, design comprehensive solutions, and manage the project through to successful completion
• Develop corporate-wide views, custom dashboards, and BI reports to provide insights and support decision-making. Perform in-depth analysis using data from various sources and formats
• Identify and evaluate new technology opportunities that can enhance enterprise-wide data BI systems
• Provide support and mentorship to business users on self-service BI tools and guide team members on data modeling, best practices, and BI tools (Tableau, Google cloud Analytics, etc.)
• Design and build robust data pipelines and data models to ensure they effectively address business questions 
• Lead work stream planning, including technical design, development, testing, and delivery of end-to-end business solutions. Determine project feasibility and select appropriate tools and methodologies
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and web applications by optimizing SQL queries, ETL processes, and frontend performance
• Develop and implement ETL processes for data marts and warehouses using tools like Python, Google Cloud, Fusion, and FME
• Perform other related duties as assigned to you
