The Edmonton Police Service is seeking one (1) competent and highly organized Supervisor in the Drug Exhibit Unit. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Direct daily supervision and guidance to all unit staff, including assigning work and work rotations, training, staff discipline, participating in employee performance reviews and ensuring staff are up to date on all training requirements.
- Participation in job rotations and capable of performing all tasks/duties that are required of Property & Exhibit Technician II's.
- Approving release/disposals and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, retention periods as they relate to seized cash, seized drug related exhibits, and other property issues.
- Monitoring compliance and participating in various audits and inventories related to EPS, OH&S and Alberta Policing Standards as directed.
- Knowledge, practice, and adherence to EPS Core Values.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer complaints and concerns.
- Other related duties as required.
