Come and be a part of the City of Edmonton's Employee Service Centre (ESC) dynamic team! As a Payroll Representative, you'll be responsible for efficient payroll functions that support over 14,000 city employees throughout 8 different departments.
Working with a team of professionals, you will provide efficient solutions and services to the entire organization in a manner that focuses on accuracy, timeliness and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, your day could include the following:
- Process bi-weekly payroll and audit end-to-end payroll for union and non-union employees
- Provide interpretation regarding collective agreements, administrative policies and legislative changes
- Provide information and payments in accordance with collective agreements, third party processes and applicable legislation as they relate to time-entry, allowance and premiums, WCB and ROE processing, leave plans and benefit entitlements
- Research, problem solve and respond to individual employee pay and benefit enquiries received in a continuous phone queue system, email, fax or chat
- Human Resources Information System (HRIS) projects and testing, as required
