As a summer student, you will work with the Indigenous Awareness & Engagement Office in an administrative role supporting the lead consultant in a wide variety of areas.

Your duties will include: 

• Provide administration support to the Indigenous Engagement Office
• Conduct research regarding Indigenous/First Peoples
• Assist with project management in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Update Indigenous Awareness webpage and google site
• Provide support to the Edmonton Indigenous Employee Resource Network (EIERN)
• Participate with Indigenous Community, events and provide support the Indigenous & Engagement Consultant
• General office duties; clerical support using google applications
• Mandatory training will be provided
• Other duties as required
