Description

As an Event and Attraction Host, you will work at City of Edmonton attractions and recreation facilities and provide superior customer service and support to patrons. You will ensure bookings and events are well-managed and enjoyable for all in attendance. As a representative of the City of Edmonton, you will be providing front-line service in a professional, calm and diplomatic manner. If you enjoy working with the public and working on your feet, this may be the opportunity for you. 

What you will do:

  • Control and direct admission to various areas of facilities
  • Provide detailed information about facilities and services
  • Facilitate safe, fun and appropriate use of facilities
  • Use standard office equipment, computers and two-way radios
  • Act upon all customer comments and complaints in a prompt, friendly manner 
  • Provide minor first aid when needed
  • Perform basic administrative duties including emails, word processing, data entry
  • Related duties as assigned
