ANALYST SR FOREIGN EXCHANGE WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? As an Analyst on the FX Sales team, you will gain deep insights into global currency markets while expanding your understanding of FX products through supporting senior advisors in structuring solutions to manage risk, enhance yield and solve complex problems for a wide range of clients, from individuals to corporations and institutional investors. This role requires a collaborative approach as you will work closely with the team, other groups within CNBCM, our Operations and Middle Office support, and external partners such as Credit, Treasury Management and Legal to ensure seamless end-to-end execution of FX solutions. What you will do
- Maintain and develop client relationships, including quoting spot trades and conducting day-to-day execution and booking processes
- Develop your understanding of FX products and CNB offerings to effectively collaborate with our business partners
- Provide support to and learn from Senior Advisors through preparing internal and external pitch and marketing materials, conducting data analysis, generating basic hedging solution ideas, and assisting in all other tasks required for business development and a seamless client experience
- Stay informed on and be able to communicate key economic and geopolitical developments as they pertain to market sentiments and trends
- Track and analyze key sales performance and other important metrics to help meet team goals
- Work closely with trading, middle office, operations and other internal partners to ensure end-to-end trade execution and client's satisfaction
- Complete all special projects as requested by FX and Capital Markets senior leadership
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance, streamline and automate processes
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Foreign Exchange and/or similar Capital Markets Sales role
- Minimum 2 years of commercial banking, underwriting, or other related industry experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic, hands-on team
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with the instinct to prioritize effectively to balance daily tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that translate into presenting complex concepts in a digestible format for audiences with varying levels of product knowledge
- A results-driven and proactive mindset, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
