Circle K are currently hiring for the role of Senior Specialist for Retail Support.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Retail Execution and Support, the Senior Specialist will be responsible for working proactively with the Retail Sales Operations (RSO) team to ensure solid business control in Circle K Retail while also supporting in the delivery of an innovative strategic advisory and project management service in assigned business areas.

This is a full time, permanent role based in Circle K Support Office, Dublin 4.  Circle K colleagues work on a hybrid model of 3 days office, 2 days home.

Overview of Role:

  • Focus on strategies in your assigned business control areas that will increase efficiency and drive profitability for the business actively demonstrated by agreed KPI reporting.
  • Review current performance of KPI and sub-categories of KPIs to drive improvement and change within the business.
  • Drive change and improvement in these areas by setting out clear goals, milestones and action plans.
  • Support the Retail Directors in carrying out 1:1 Business Review Meetings with Area Managers.
  • Work with Finance to plan annual budgets at macro and micro level across Labour, Opex and Sales Targets.
  • Ongoing objective analysis in the management of stock, shrink and other operational controls with ownership for driving results through Retail team.
  • Co-ordination of weekly retail KPI reports by working with Support team and Senior Manager RES.
  • Shrink Reporting for retail business with topline summary of performance and solution proposals.
  • Ensure that retail procedures, systems and processes are maintained and updated in line with Retail Governance Process with each new initiative launched into the business by liaising with the appropriate Subject Matter Experts from each assigned department.
  • Specifically, you will work with the Category Management Team on all new initiatives and products by ensuring adherence to Retail Governance and supporting with full implementation into Retail through appropriate Implementation Packs, SOP's and Training Material.
  • Liaise continuously with the Learning and Development Team to ensure alignment between Standard Operating Procedures and E-Learning/Training Material on new and existing initiatives.
  • Liaise with Circle K Europe to localise and implement International Retail Development and Support strategy as requested by the Head of the Department with the wider team. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years retail management experience where project and area support activities have formed an integral part of your role.
  • Ideally has a 3rd level business qualification but is not essential.
  • Strong IT skills - MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS PowerBI
  • Natural collaboration skills and strong influencing with all levels.
  • Confident presenter
